The new Ford EcoBlue has been renewed not only in terms of engine size (it's been reduced to 2000cc) but also in terms of torque and power distribution. Performances declared by the manufacturer range from 170 to 210 HP. The goal of Rapid TPM intervention is not oriented to the maximum power but especially to the torque delivery: an essential aspect of your driving experience.
THROTTLE RANGE(R) + 45 NM
Tested on our Dyno Race bench, the "entry level" 170 hp Ford Ranger has a massive torque improvement of 45 Nm and an 11% performance increase with RAPID TPM, which is maintained from 2500 to 4250 rpm. The excellent original torque curve is reshaped by Rapid TPM while maintaining its specifications: the mechanic works in perfect synchrony with the electronic's optimization.
Thanks to Rapid TPM contribution, this Ford engine works better even in the most difficult conditions: towing and heavy loads are really not a problem. Installation is carried out by connecting (plug & play mode) the wiring to rpm sensor, turbo pressure sensor and rail pressure sensor, all easily accessible.
Engine calibration settings can be further customized with Rapid Management software.
